Uncertainty: a blessing in disguise

I’ve been reading a great new book by Mike Dooley called Infinite Possibilities.  He reminded me that life really is an adventure.  Us humans dislike change and often fight against it but not being sure of what’s going to happen is exactly what makes life an interesting adventure.  How boring would it be if you knew precisely how your day was going to be mapped out from the moment you woke up?
That might sound appealing now if you’re experiencing stress due to uncertainty but I’m sure you would be bored out of your tree within a couple of days and begging for some excitement.
As I’m facing some uncertainty at the moment it’s a great thing to realise that uncertainty and change is exactly what makes our lives so interesting.  There can be many different outcomes leading us onto a variety of different paths.  It’s also very empowering to realise that we are the ones in charge of making our life choices.
